BLOS

Een ontmoeting in kleur, textiel en fotografie

Annabel Oosteweeghel
& Frank Visser

From 30 October 2026 to 7 February 2027, Fotomuseum Hilversum presents BLOS, a multidisciplinary project by photographer Annabel Oosteweeghel and artist Frank Visser. BLOS is a project in which the boundary between photography and visual art blurs.

Opening BLOS

BLOS - An encounter in color, textiles, and photography

BLOS is an ode to having fun. It stimulates the senses and offers a new perspective on photography. BLOS is a site-specific installation created by photographer Annabel Oosteweeghel and multidisciplinary artist Frank Visser. BLOS shows what emerges when working with a wide variety of color, form, and materials. Photography, visual art, and exhibition design flow into one another.

BLOS is a conscious choice for connection and surprise. By combining their unique areas of expertise—Oosteweeghel’s narrative photography and Visser’s spatial, material approach—a work is created that stretches the boundaries of photography and perception. BLOS is not a traditional exhibition, but an experience that confronts the viewer with unexpected combinations of fashion, color, textiles, visual art, styling, and portrait photography. BLOS advocates for a pronounced softness towards ourselves and the world, expressed in color and form.

In April 2026, a preview of the work was on display at the KunstRAI.
