News photography addresses everything happening in society, sets the agenda, and captures developments that form the basis of collective memory. Zilveren Camera is the most important award for photojournalists in the Netherlands and is traditionally presented first at Fotomuseum Hilversum. All winning photos and those of the other nominees will be on display during this exhibition.
There is a special category for multimedia projects and independent photography within the Zilveren Camera: Storytelling. The three winners will be featured in the exhibition.
Dutch professional photographers, photography students in their final year, and international photographers living or working in the Netherlands were invited to submit their photos from 2025.
The winner(s) of the 2025 Zilveren Camera will be announced on Friday, February 13.
