Photographers in attendance

We are delighted and honored that two international photographers will be joining us for the opening. Paula Hornickel from Berlin will discuss her winning photograph Emma the Social Robot, the Anthrobocene series, and her broader body of work in an interview. Mexican photographer César Rodríguez will talk about his award-winning project Mexico, A Changing Climate, for which he spent four years documenting the impact of climate change in Mexico.

World Press Photo Exhibition 2026

The exhibition showcases the best and most meaningful news and documentary photography of the past year, selected by an independent jury.

The 42 winning images and stories bring together diverse subjects: from war and migration to social, political, and ecological issues, and hopeful stories from all parts of the world. Together, they demonstrate how photography reveals different perspectives and brings complex stories closer.
